Lisbon Westie Fest is a space created to share dance, connection, and care. Our goal is that every person feels safe, respected, and welcome throughout the event. By attending, all participants agree to follow this Code of Conduct.

Respect and Inclusion

  • Treat all participants, staff, artists, and volunteers with respect and kindness.

  • Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or unwanted behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Respect personal boundaries, consent, and communication at all times, both on and off the dance floor.

Consent and Personal Boundaries

  • Always ask for and respect consent when inviting someone to dance.

  • Anyone may decline a dance at any time, for any reason, without explanation.

  • Physical contact must always be appropriate and comfortable for both people.

  • If someone asks you to stop a behavior, stop immediately.

Safety and Well Being

  • Take care of yourself and those around you.

  • If you feel unsafe or witness inappropriate behavior, please contact the event staff or organizers immediately.

  • Follow all safety guidelines provided by the venue and the event team.

Wristbands

Please wear your wristband at all times. It is personal, non transferable, and required to access all Lisbon Westie Fest activities.

Lost and Found

Lisbon Westie Fest is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please take care of your belongings.
A Lost and Found area will be available during the event. Unclaimed items may be kept for a limited time after the event

Dance Floor Etiquette

  • Be mindful of space, floor craft, and the comfort of others while dancing.

  • Avoid movements that may put yourself or others at risk.

  • Respect the experience level of your dance partner

Photography and Recording

  • Please be respectful when taking photos or videos.
  • Always ask for consent before filming or photographing individuals in close or personal situations.
  • Official photography and videography may take place during the event for documentation and promotional purposes.

Community Responsibility

  • Lisbon Westie Fest is built on trust and care. We ask everyone to contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.
  • Respect the decisions of the organizing team. Their role is to ensure the safety and well being of all participants.

Violations and Consequences

  • The organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct.
  • Actions may include warnings, removal from specific activities, or removal from the event without refund.
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in exclusion from future events.

This Code of Conduct exists to protect our community and preserve the caring and respectful atmosphere of Lisbon Westie Fest. Thank you for being part of it and for helping create a space where everyone feels safe, valued, and welcome.
